A Shot Glass Of Truth

Sober, most women  are perfectly PC!  These  dignified  divas  have a filter.  There are certain things they just won't say out loud.  Why? I suspect they fear the entire world might come crashing down around them if they truthfully tell it like it is!  Right.  Because I'm a giver, I've devised a clever fix.  Be warned, this idea might change womanity as we know it!  I call it "Girl's Night Out"!  I know right... EUREKA!
Call me devious but I relish nothing more than striking up a convo with these lovelies after they've consumed a tad bit of truth serum (aka: Appletinis)!  Trust me when I tell you that opinions spills out like a muffin top!
Now please don't misunderstand, I'm direct but I'm not disrespectful.  But when you ask me if your ass looks big in those jeans you should expect an honest answer!
I simply wasn't cursed um, I mean blessed with the filter gene!  I've been told (on more than one occasion might I add) that I'm as subtle as a flying brick!  NICE!  But frankly, it's who I am so I don't disagree!  Isn't life too short to be anything BUT straightforward? And yesssss (rolling eyes), my candor HAS embarrassed a friend or two... but I never do it on purpose!  (wink! wink!)
My seedlings, God bless'em, are just like me!  Mommy, those panties are WAY too small for your big butt."  Cuz they're a THONG kid!  Now GET OUT!   "Mommy, dinner tastes like dead fish tonight.  "Bon Appétit!
Authentic living rocks!

An unfiltered life is an amazing thing. Good for you for living one!

Ha! I'll admit I could use a shot of the truth serum occasionally, but then again you might not able to shut me up after that.

Honesty is a beautiful thing though.

Thanks for stopping by today.

I agree 100%! I have been known only to have no filter with the ones I love but honestly, I don't like to hurt peoples feelings. If asked I have been known to tell the truth but I never offer free advice especially if it is hurtful! Love the honesty and some wine every now and then helps the truth come out! LOL

Love it! I too, usually tell it like it is. I have no wall up! Everything is on my sleeve! Great to meet another gal like myself. :)

Well you know me, trying to live authentically! It doesn't take much for me to spill. But that can get me into trouble, as you know! I like being honest as long as I really know what it is I am talking about and it's not gonna hurt someone's feelings (unless I want it to)!

hey I think kids are just born being blunt. I frequently get the mommy, why is your tummy big... why isn't it flat like ours? A)I'm not 4 b) your brother was a freak of nature sized baby....

Stopping by from SITS. Love your humour and candidness. Not sure I get why there's a adult content warning tho from Blogger. *l*
